Eating sugar laden foods, which cause insulin resistance, which promptly takes the sugar that we eat and deposits it as fat
Eating too many calories, because our satiety signals are not functioning well enough to indicate when it is time to stop eating
Not getting vital nutrients in what we are eating, so the body’s optimal functioning is compromised
Thyroid is sluggish causing metabolic slow down
Adrenal glands are stressed out producing too much cortisol
Not eating a properly balanced diet consisting of fats, proteins and complex carbohydrates
